Terry Miller and Chris Herrington are co-owners of Millington Bulldogs.  We are bulldoggers essentially by accident.  We started out with Yorkshire terriers as pets, then thought it would be good to have a larger, but not too large dog that looked intimidating to "look after" things while we were at work. Tennessee Pearl Rose was found and became our pet/watchdog.  We did not know a great deal about the breed at that time but quickly learned Pearl was not a top notch quality bulldog, but no problem as the thought of breeding or showing dogs never entered our minds.

 

As is often the case we eventually decided Pearl needed a companion besides the Yorkies, and along came DJ's Tennessee Rox-see Bleau.  A beautiful little lady she was and of excellent pedigree.  After much deliberation and making sure we knew as much as we could learn, Rox-see was bred and that was all it took.  We became hooked on bulldogs.  Rox-see gave us a perfect litter of eight.  First we wanted to keep one puppy, then two, then three!  If there were enough room we might have kept all eight!  It was an enormous amount of work, but a labor of love for sure.  We spent a lot of time with the Jacobs (Jager's Bulldogs), who own the stud, and it was decided that Chris would show the puppies when they were old enough.

Let me emphatically express that it is not our ambition to breed bulldogs to sell puppies.  Our aim is to select the very best dogs with the very best qualities that we can find to get the next high quality show dog.  Why not aim high?  We want to go to Westminster and some of the other really big shows with our dogs.  It is certainly possible in this quest to have litters that we cannot keep all the dogs, and from time to time we may have puppies we will sell. If you are looking for an awesome pet or even a dog to show yourself, check back occasionally as we may post available puppies in the future.  We will only consider the best qualified homes in which to place our dogs.
